Rivers United may have pipped Young Africans 1-0 on the road, but experienced coach Stanley Eguma has insisted his team to do more against the Tanzanians so as to guarantee qualification to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
A 55th minute header by Moses Omodumuke gave Rivers United victory in Tanzania Sunday.
Rivers United were without four key players who tested positive for Covid-19 before the game.
“We have fight as if had not won the first leg. We have to give everything,” Eguma charged.
“Our opponents are a good and very mobile side.
“So, we have to rise to occasion so as to ensure our qualification to the next round of the competition.”
The return leg will be staged on Sunday, September 19 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
