Super Eagles coach Augustine Eguavoen has revealed he has spoken with Victor Moses about staging a comeback for the World Cup.
Eguavoen is already preparing for the World Cup later this year in Qatar even though he has to first get past Ghana this month for his team to reach Qatar 2022.
“I have spoken to Victor Moses, but the rest (of the conversation) I will prefer to keep to my chest,” he told Elegbete TV.
“We have to sit down and talk so that we can achieve our goals.
“We want the best for Nigeria because we want to go as far as possible at the World Cup, even if possible win it. Nothing is impossible.”
Victor Moses quit international football soon after the eagles failed to go past the group stage of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Russia-based winger played a big part in Nigeria winning their third AFCON title in 2013 in South Africa.
