Tyronne Ebuehi will not feature in Super Eagles friendlies against Ghana and Mali later this month after he suffered a major knee injury in action for Italian club Empoli.
Empoli announced today that Ebuehi suffered a partial tear of his ACL of the right knee while in action against Bologna last weekend.
This injury will sideline the defender for several months.
Ebuehi was recalled to the Super Eagles after he was overlooked for the recent AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire.
His career has been blighted by major injuries.
Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi and Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho are also major doubts for the friendlies in Morocco.
