Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika was sent off tonight in the UEFA Europa Conference League semifinal first leg at Fiorentina.
He was sent off in the 61st minute after he bagged his first caution three minutes earlier.
He will therefore miss next week’s second leg in Belgium with the tie delicately poised after the home team snatched a 3-2 at the death.
Onyedika has also suffered from on-pitch discipline after he was sent off in the Belgian Championship after accumulated bookings.
Otherwise, the midfielder was this week named Player of the Month by Club Brugge for the first time since he joined from Denmark two years ago.
