As incredible as it may sound, SCORENigeria has been told KAA Gent latest sensation Adewale Oladoye is still a virgin at the age of 19.
The former Flying Eagles midfielder inspired the comeback of his Belgian club in Thursday’s UEFA Conference League third qualifying round against RFS of Latvia.
He pulled a goal back for the home team soon after the restart after the Latvian visitors had raced to a two-goal lead in the first half.
He was also involved in the equaliser for Gent to force a 2-2 draw.
Oladoye is still largely unknown even back home in Nigeria.
But one of his representatives specially told SCORENigeria a few interesting insights about the new hero in Belgium.
“He is a hard working boy from Ibadan,” began the representative.
“Can you believe it that he has yet to know a woman? His biggest obsession is to be the best in football.
“He is not on social media, no Instagram, no Whatsapp or FaceBook. Just his football.”
Oladoye was ecstatic about the progress he has achieved within a short time in Europe.
“In less than six months, he is already making his debut in a European competition. That can only be the result of his hard work and self-belief,” a representative further told SCORENigeria
Incidentally, former Water FC of Abuja and now Gent teammate Emeka Chinonso has been sidelined by a foot injury caused by a tackle in training by no other person than Oladoye.
