Both US Cremonese and Rangers have now agreed a transfer fee for Cyriel Dessers.
Top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that both clubs have finalised on a fee for the 28-year-old striker and documents concerning the transfer are now being drafted.
The transfer was stalled by the insistence of the Italian club that Rangers match their valuation for the player.
The Daily Mail has reported that the deal is worth £4.5m, which sees a drop in price from the £7m asking price that the recently relegated Italian side originally wanted when Rangers first made their move for him.
Dessers is now set to join up with Rangers next week and will fly out to Germany with the rest of the squad when they go on pre-season.
Super Eagles striker Dessers scored six goals and made two assists for Cremonese, who were relegated from Serie A this past season.
