Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers has rejected a transfer to Scottish giants Rangers as he prefers to stay put in Italy.
According to Calcio Mercato, Dessers, 28, has been top transfer target for Rangers for some time now, but he has now finally turned down a chance to move to Scotland.
The experienced striker went down with US Cremonese to the Italian Serie B after relegation from the Italian top league this past season.
He has made it very clear he does not wish to play in the Italian lower division.
Serie A outfit Torino could be an option for Dessers as they have reportedly entered the race to sign him.
He has previously featured for Dutch club Feyenoord and Utrecht as well as Belgian club Genk.
