Cyriel Dessers was again the match winner for Rangers in the Scottish league at Dundee, where there were seven goals on display.
The Super Eagles striker finished off a long ball to make it 4-3 with a minute left on the clock.
It was his 12th goal in 28 league appearances this season.
He is four goals shy of his tally from last season.
The 30-year-old striker had his goal, which tied the game at 2-2, ruled out for offside after VAR check.
Dundee even led 3-1 before Rangers fought back to win in dramatic fashion.
However, Rangers remain 13 points adrift of rivals and table toppers Celtic after 31 matches.
