David Okereke himself has confirmed he has interest from newly promoted Turkish Super Lig club Kocaelispor.
Last season, the former Nigeria U23 star played on loan at another Turkish club Gaziantep FK from Italian club US Cremonese.
Okereke said he worked with the new coach of Kocaelispor at Gaziantep.
It has been reported that Okereke’s personal terms have been agreed and negotiations between the clubs have slowed down due to the uncertainties regarding the future of the Cremonese sports director.
