Super Falcons captain Asisat Oshoala will be sidelined for at least 10 days after she tested positive for Coronavirus and duly went into quarantine.
Oshoala was not listed by her club Barcelona Ladies for a pre-season training camp in Algorfa during which time they will play a couple of test matches ahead of the new season.
The club did not explain the forward’s absence, but Barcelona-based newpaper L’Esportiu reported she has contacted Coronavirus.
The Super Falcons star was earlier this month on holidays in Lagos, where she conducted a football clinic for women.
