The result of a friendly match between the Flying Eagles and Argentine team Club Almirante Brown has been thrown into controversy after an official insisted the Nigeria U20s won the game 3-2 as against the claim of the Argentine club.
The Argentine club, who celebrated 100-year anniversary last year, announced on their official Twitter handle that the game played Friday night in Buenos Aires ended in a 2-2 draw.
Several other media outlets in Argentina also reported the game finished in a 2-2 draw.

However, Flying Eagles team administrator, Aliyu Lawal, told SCORENigeria the team edged the test game 3-2.
“We won the game 3-2 with Emmanuel Umeh scoring our winning goal after Salim Fago and Tochukwu Nnadi hit target for us,” he informed SCORENigeria
“We are now looking forward to our final warm-up game against Colombia on Tuesday, that will really show how prepared we are for the World Cup.”
The Flying Eagles will after the Colombian test depart for Mendoza Wednesday in time for their opening Group D match against the Dominican Republic Sunday morning in Nigeria.
