Victor Osimhen enjoyed a special connection with the fans at Napoli, but coach Okan Buruk has now said he was never in doubt that Victor Osimhen will remain at Galatasaray because he has been loved more than ever before.
The striker enjoyed an unforgettable loan spell at Galatasaray last season during which he scored 37 goals to help Galatasaray win both the league and cup and for him to finish as the top scorer in the league.
He is now on the verge of completing a permanent transfer to the Turkish giants after long-drawn negotiations.
“Osimhen received a love at Galatasaray that he had never seen before,” Buruk told Tivibu Spor
“That’s why I always believed he would stay. He hasn’t disappointed us.
“The process (transfer) is ongoing and we believe it will be concluded as soon as possible.”
