Club Brugge have been very impressed with the performance and goals of Kaye Furo, the son of former Super Eagles defender Furo Iyenemi, and will give him a new and improved contract as a result.
Kaye is not yet 18 and this past season, he scored 10 goals in 23 appearances in Belgian second division with Club NXT.
Last season he was also selected for the A-team for the first time and together with his performances in the Youth League this again generated a lot of interest.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, the player’s entourage has heard that his contract would be reopened.
“He certainly has the ambition to become Club Brugge’s first striker in the long term, although that will all depend on how quickly he can adapt to that level,” his agent Willem Ofori told the newspaper.
