Villarreal are through to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League after Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to deliver the knockout punch against hosts Bayern Munich.
The La Liga club now await the overall winners of the quarterfinal between Liverpool and Benfica.

Tuesday night’s tie in Munich was heading to extra time with both teams locked at 1-1 on aggregate before Chukwueze struck off a swift counter attack two minutes from full time.
It was his first goal in 2022 and his sixth in all competitions this season.
UEFA Europa League holders Villarreal last reached the last-four of the Champions League 16 years ago.
