Unsettled striker Chuba Akpom has got his wish to quit Ajax after the Dutch club reached agreement with French Ligue 1 side Lille on a loan deal until the summer.
The loan deal has a buy option, according to The Athletic.
The 29-year-old striker has thus been given permission to travel to France for a routine medical.
Lille beat off competition from the Premier League as well as the English Championship to get the former Arsenal ace, who has pledged his international future to Nigeria.
Chuba Akpom has said he wishes to leave Ajax because he is not being played as a striker.
