Striker Emanuel Emegha, who has Nigerian roots, is reported by L’Equipe to be heading to Chelsea ‘without a doubt’.
His departure is programmed for the summer of 2026, with a probable five-year contract.
Emegha is under contract with Strasbourg until 2028 and has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €26 million.
He was valued at €13 million when Racing signed him in 2023. His value has risen after scoring 14 goals in 27 Ligue 1 outings last season.
Chelsea are planning to sign Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg before his value increases to €50 million.
The transfer is discussed to be potentially completed at a discounted price due to Chelsea’s relationship with Strasbourg, possibly around €25 million.
Emegha, at 22 years old, is already the captain of Strasbourg and has shown significant potential with 14 goals and three assists in 29 appearances last season.
