Top European clubs like Chelsea and RB Liepzig have stormed Egypt in search off the new stars from Africa at this year’s U20 AFCON.
Premier League club Chelsea are represented in Egypt by former Super Eagles star Seyi Olofinjana, who heads their African scouting operations.
He has previously worked at Premier League club Wolves as well astop Swiss side FC Zurich.
SCORENigeria further gathered that other scouts in Egypt are from clubs like RB Liepzig and Charleroi in Belgium.
The U20 AFCON opened Sunday with hosts Egypt beating South Africa 1-0, while Zambia and Sierra Leone played out a scoreless draw.
