CHAN Eagles midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has terminated his contract Algerian club Entente Setif, who are facing serious financial problems.
The former Flying Eagles star told SCORENigeria: “Yes, I have terminated my contract with Etente Setif. They have financial problems and the essence of playing football is money. If they can’t pay me, why should I remain in the club?
“I decided to terminate the contract and as I speak with you, I am still in Algeria but hopefully by next week, I’ll be coming back to Nigeria.”
He further added, “For now, I can’t say for sure what is next for me. My next destination lies in the hands of God. Let’s see how it goes.
“Best to believe I will rise again.”
