It could well be a battle of the Super Eagles when the draw for the UEFA Champions League playoffs is staged tomorrow.
Ademola Lookman and Atalanta finished 11th in the overall Champions League table and could face Club Brugge, who parade Raphael Onyedika and finished 24th in the standings.
Club Brugge will draw either Atalanta or Borussia Dortmund tomorrow to play off for a place in the Round of 16.
The chairman of the Belgian champions Bart Verhaeghe said he and most of the fans will prefer a clash against Atalanta.
“Dortmund were better in the last fifteen minutes when we played against them (Dortmund won 3-0 on September 18), but they also trembled before that,” he said.
“Atalanta are also a very good team, I also follow Charles (De Ketelaere, ed.) of course.
“If I could choose, I would prefer Atalanta because we have already played against Dortmund three times in recent years. I think it is also more fun for the supporters to draw Atalanta.”
