Kelechi Iheanacho has saluted Celtic Scottish Premiership conquest on the final day of the season.
Celtic came from behind to beat Hearts 3-1 to win a fifth straight Scottish championship and that way stopped a historic win by their opponents, who last won the league 66 years ago.
“There was massive pressure, they (Hearts) are a very good side, but God of soccer was on our side today,” an elated Iheanacho said after the victory.
“I have not won a piece of silverware in a while now, so I am happy to win with this massive club.”
Iheanacho scored a stoppage time penalty in Celtic previous game to ensure the championship will only be decided today.
