CAF have postponed the U17 AFCON due to kick off in Morocco this weekend due to rising cases of Coronavirus in Morocco.
This decision followed a CAF emergency committee meeting today during which it was discussed whether to postpone the competition, shift it or relocate it to another country.
Morocco have already closed their air space till March 21 with several of the U17 AFCON finalists like Golden Eaglets opening group opponents Tanzania already in the country.
FIFA have already canceled the U17 World Cup slated for this year due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The Golden Eaglets were due to fly out early this week for Morocco, where they are drawn against Tanzania, Congo and Algeria.
The 12-team tournament was fixed for March 13 to 30.
