Both German Bundesliga clubs Bayer Leverkusen and Werder Bremen are now waiting on striker Victor Boniface to give the go-ahead for surgery on his knee.
Victor Boniface’s loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen could therefore be ended soon.
According to ‘Deichstube’, Werder Bremen expect a decision from the striker within this calendar year regarding a possible operation.
If Victor Boniface decided to undergo surgery, the loan will be terminated.
Doctors from both Werder and Bayer are recommending surgery due to ongoing knee problems.
This intervention would mean the end of the season for Boniface.
