Transfer talks between Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt and Club Brugge of Belgium are continuing for Super Eagles star Raphael Onyedika.
According to Voetbalnieuws.be, Eintracht Frankfurt’s interest in Onyedika began last summer, and negotiations have been ongoing for months.
The German club have been gathering information and internally see Onyedika as a potential successor to Hugo Larsson, if the Swede departed next summer.
Club Brugge’s asking price is over 20 million euros.
Frankfurt are reportedly hesitant to pay the full price, especially if the situation with Larsson is not resolved this winter.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg reported that Frankfurt could make a move next summer if Sweden international Larsson quit.
Onyedika’s contract with Club Bruges runs until June 2027.
His market value is 20 million euros, and his annual salary is 677,851 euros.
