The CHAN Eagles have been drawn in a relatively fair Group D of the 2024 CHAN, which has champions Senegal, Sunday and Congo Brazzaville.
Group D is the only that has four teams, while the three other groups have five teams.
Nigeria are back to the championship after six-year of absence.
The Group of Death will be Group A, which has co-hosts Kenya, two-time champions Morocco, Angola, DR Congo and Zambia.
The tournament has been postponed until August.
