All-conquering European champions Lyon are set to make an audacious bid to snatch Asisat Oshoala from Barcelona following a long-term injury of star striker Ada Hergeberg.
A top source close to Oshoala informed SCORENigeria that Lyon sports director has already landed in Spain to open talks with Barcelona.
“I have it on good authority that the Lyon sports director is now in Spain for Asisat,” the source informed.
“Lyon are desperate to replace their star striker, who will be out for several months.
“But Barcelona do not want to sell.
“We just have to wait and see.”
Oshoala is a woman on fire with 14 goals in as many matches this season.
Lyon Ladies team, on the other hand, are the most dominant team in Europe and beat Barcelona in the final to win yet another European Champions League title last season.
