5.William Ekong
The experienced central defender still has two years left on his contract at Greek club PAOK, but in the twilight of his career he may well be tempted by the petro-dollars in Saudi Arabia. He was linked with interests from the Far East at the AFCON and it won’t be such a bad idea to go for a final big pay day in Saudi Arabia. He needs to secure the financial future of his young family.
4.Chidera Ejuke
The dribbling wizard will run out his contract at CSKA Moscow this summer and he is most likely to seek greener pastures as he did not exactly set Russia on fire. After a difficult start to life in Belgium, he turned on the magic on loan at Antwerp. Antwerp will be a possible destination, but there has been so much upheavals both on and off the pitch lately at the oldest football club in Belgium that he may not be offered a hefty signing-on fee as a free agent. The German Bundesliga, where he featured last season, could be an option.
3.Kelechi Iheanacho
He has given several hints he will quit Leicester City despite their return to the Premier League at the first time of asking. The striker has fallen down the pecking order at ‘The Foxes’ and at 27 he can cash in big time on moving as a free agent without a transfer fee. Already there are interests in the Premier League with the likes of Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. He is also wanted in Turkey, but first consideration would obviously be to remain in England, where he has played for the last 10 years.
2.Wilfred Ndidi
Like ‘Senior Man Kels’, the midfielder is not likely to extend his stay at Leicester City when his contract also runs out this summer. He has already been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs, from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich. SCORENigeria has already reported that his handlers have insisted that should he stay put in England, it will be with one of the Premier League Top-6. He should not be lacking worthy suitors on the back of his most prolific season in Europe.

Will it be PSG or the Premier League for the Napoli striker? Most Nigerian fans will want to see Osimhen test his powers in their favourite European league, the Premier League. However, the biggest hurdle for the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal would be the 130 Million Euros release clause Napoli inserted on the striker’s new contract. PSG, on the other hand, will have no problems matching this valuation especially with the now confirmed departure of their marque star Kylian Mbappe. Replacing Mbappe at the big-spending Paris club ought to be tempting for Osimhen or will he finally give in to the life-changing offer by the Saudis?
