Besiktas are the latest club to be linked to striker Paul Onuachu, who remains in the doldrums in the Premier League in England.
Onuachu has only played 134 minutes in seven matches for Southampton, who are rock bottom of the Premier League.
The Star claimed that Besiktas wish to give the 30-year-old striker a three-year contract and want to sign him in January.
Onuachu himself wants to return to Turkey, the report further said.
Last season, he scored 17 goals for Trabzonspor on loan from Southampton.
Trabzonspor failed to keep the giant striker in Turkey this season.
