Turkish giants Besiktas have stepped up their hunt for Super Eagles defender Jamilu Collins, according to media reports out of Turkey.
Collins, 24, helped Paderborn 07 to win promotion to the German Bundesliga this past season and his profile was further enhanced by his performance with the Super Eagles this year.
SCORENigeria learnt that Besiktas hope to offer the leftback personal terms that he could only dream of in Germany so as to convince him to move to Turkey.
Collins has endured tough times in Europe since he quit Abuja Football College and it was only by the grace of his German wife that he moved to Germany from where he has enjoyed a fairy tale run.
Besiktas will also play in the UEFA Champions League, another reason the Turkish club hope they could further convince him to dump the Bundesliga.
The new Turkish season kicks off on August 17, but the transfer window will be open till August 30.
