Today, recently capped Super Eagles defender Benjamin Fredrick made his debut in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Fredrick was a 76th minute sub as home team FCV Dender were held to a goalless draw by Cercle Brugge in their opening game of the new season.
Dender won promotion to the Belgian top-flight league last season.
The youngster is on a season-long loan from Premier League club Brentford.
