Benin have sensationally called up potential Super Eagles striker Tosin Aiyegun for three matches later this month.
The FC Zurich striker, who can score goals as well as create them, has been named on a 23-man squad for matches against Liberia (March 24), Sudan (March 27) and Togo (March 29).
Nigerian-born stars like Razak Omotoyossi have previously picked Benin ahead of the Super Eagles.
Incidentally, Benin new coach is Moussa Latoundji, who played for many years at now defunct Julius Berger FC.
Aiyegun previously featured for Latvian club FK Ventspils and his wife is Latvian.
He was a direct replacement for Stephen Odey, when he transferred to Belgian club Genk.
Over the years, the big and powerful striker has been linked with a transfer to French giants Lyon as well as Barnsley in the English Championship.
