Benin have drafted Jean Ugouchi as a late replacement for one of the players who tested positive for Coronavirus.
Ugouchi is a defender with local league club Dragons and was also called up to the squad when Benin battled Nigeria two years ago.
He is the first call-up from the domestic league by the Squirrels for this crunch AFCON clash.
This may well give an indication that one of the players infected is a defender as authorities are yet to make public their identities.
Two players have so far tested positive for the virus while the result of a third player is being awaited, officials disclosed.
The first player tested positive Tuesday and he has been in isoloation ever since.
