Bendel Insurance star striker Imade Osarenkhoe has joined United Arab Emirates side United FC on a lucrative four-year deal.
Details of the deal between the club and the player’s representative have been finalised and the 22-year-old will be presented to the public Monday.
Osarenkhoe was a star performer for Insurance last season, scoring 11 goals in both the Nigeria Premier Football League and in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
He also scored the winner as Insurance defeated Enugu Rangers to earn their fourth national cup title and their first since 1980.
“Osarenkhoe has done well on the Nigerian domestic scene with Insurance and I think it’s now time for him to explore other possibilities,“ a representative of the former Lobi Star striker said.
“it’s a win-win situation for both parties and he will get a good salary and other incentives;
Osarenkhoe will be unveiled officially to the press and teeming fans of the club.”
The United FC are based in Dubai and with their large concentration of many Nigerians in the city, Osaronkhoe would not be short of admirers as he begins his career overseas.
