Bendel Insurance coach Kennedy Boboye has been handed a 17-match ban for gross misconduct towards a referee.
He will also pay a fine of two million naira.
This followed crowd trouble after Bendel Insurance home game against Plateau United at the weekend, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
The NPFL also announced that Bendel Insurance will also pay a total of five million naira in fines and play their next three matches behind closed doors for breaching competition rules.
