An offer by Belgian club KAA Gent for striker Rafiu Durosinmi has been rejected by his Czech club Viktoria Plzen.
Gent are shopping for a direct replacement of Andri Gudjohnsen, who has left for English club Blackburn Rovers.
Durosinmi, who stands at a remarkable 1.92m, is in the final year of his contract with Viktoria Plzen, although the club do not seem eager to cooperate on a transfer.
The striker himself would like to take a new step in his career and therefore no longer trains with Plzen. However, the club has no intention of letting him leave for a bargain price.
According to Transfermarkt, Durosinmi has a market value of seven million euros.
KAA Gent reportedly made an initial offer, but it was rejected.
