Belgian club Zulte Waregem will count on new signing Tochukwu to lift them back to the top league.
Flying Eagles midfielder Nnadi, 20, has signed a contract that will keep him at the Belgian club until 2028.
“Nnadi has a unique profile that we can use within our current core,” said Zulte Waregem sports director Tom Caluwé.
“He is a strong and explosive midfielder who combines technique with a huge work ethic. At 20 years old, Nnadi is still very young, but we believe he can help build the future of Essevee.”
The player himself is thrilled with the transfer to Belgium.
“I am so happy to be here,” Nnadi said. “I was often in contact with Ablo and I saw how he has blossomed in recent months at this fantastic club. It is the right time for me to make the move to Essevee.
“It will be an exciting few months ahead, but I look forward to building the future together with the team.”
Nnadi is the third signing by Zulte Waregem in this window.
He is a right-footed midfielder who mainly comes into his own as a defensive midfielder.
The young Nigerian made his debut at the age of 18 for the Bulgarian Botev Plovdiv and has since played five times for the Nigeria U20s.
