Belgian champions Genk have announced they are happy to sign target man Paul Onuachu till 2024.
Onuachu has been chased by Genk for several years after they identified him as a striker who could play as the main target man in their attack.
Media reports said Danish club FC Midtjylland sold him for seven million Euros including bonuses after protracted negotiations with Genk.
Onuachu will not feature in tonight’s league clash against Anderlecht as he only completed his transfer yesterday.
Fellow Nigeria star Stephen Odey, who recently signed from Swiss side FC Zurich, is also not listed for the game.
Genk will feature in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League.
