Atalanta have rejected a bid by Bayern Munich for Ademola Lookman, just as Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and Galatasaray have indicated interest to sign the Super Eagles forward.
The Athletic reported that Atalanta turned down a loan deal for the player to German champions Bayern with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Bayern proposed a transfer fee of 28 million euros for a permanent transfer plus a paid loan fee as well.
The perennial German champions need a forward after the deal for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson fell through at the last minute.
The Italian club have insisted on a permanent sale.
They have also rejected a 45 million euros offer by fellow Italian club Inter Milan as they want Ademola Lookman to play away from Italy.
This comes as Sky Sport Germany reported that Spurs and Galatasaray are also interested in the player and would want to buy him permanently.
