Bayelsa United fairy tale run in the CAF Confederation Cup has ended with a disastrous 4-0 mauling by Tunisian top guns CS Sfaxien today.
NNL and Nigeria Cup holders Bayelsa United had shocked the highly fancied Tunisians in the home leg a week ago.
But they were torn to shreds in the return leg in Tunisia with the home team racing to a four-goal lead.
CS Sfaxien will now play off with a club who drop out from the more prestigious CAF Champions League for a place in the group phase of the Confederation Cup.
