Bafana Bafana of South Africa are due to fly into Nigeria Wednesday just as they have been forced to replace a star defender because of injury.
SAFA announced the South African delegation will arrive Wednesday ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles two days later in Uyo.
They are booked at the Five Point Hotel in Ekot Ikpene.
In the meantime, coach Hugo Broos has replaced Grant Kekana, who played against the Super Eagles in the AFCON semifinal in February, after he was injured in the Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
His place has been taken by Given Msimango of Kaizer Chiefs.
