Awoniyi sees red as Coventry City crushed 5-0

Today is best forgotten by Super eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi after he was sent off and his team Coventry City were humbled 5-0 at home by Brighton in the Premier League.

Awoniyi was sent off for an elbow on a Brighton player on 53 minutes when his team were already 2-0 down.

Compatriot Frank Onyeka was also in action for Coventry as he played for 73 minutes.

Coventry back in the Premier League after 25 years have yet to score a goal or win a match in their first four matches.
