Turkey-based defender Chidozie Awaziem again did not train with the Super Eagles in Garoua Thursday.
He was the only player of the 27-man squad in Cameroon missing and he was also nowhere to be seen.
Coach Augustine Eguavoen said Awaziem is nursing a knock.
However, it has already been reported that the former FC Porto ace has tested positive for Coronavirus and he is currently in quarantine.
The versatile Awaziem, who shone at the 2019 AFCON at rightback, was widely tipped to partner William Ekong in central defence.
But even by the short training camp in Abuja he was battling what appeared to be a hamstring problem, which had stopped him from playing the last few games for his Turkish club before the holiday break.
The Eagles will undergo the mandatory Covid-19 test today.
