Ademola Lookman may have finally broken a goals’ drought that lasted two months with his goal at relegated Monza, but his coach at Atalanta has admitted he was unhappy with the forward during the game.
Atalanta won 4-0 at Monza to cement their place in third place in the Serie A standings and improve qualification to next season’s UEFA Champions League.
However, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini said he was unhappy with Ademola Lookman in the first half of the match.
“Lookman did well in the second half; I wasn’t too happy with him in the first,” he said.
It would be recalled that there was a major falling out between the Super Eagles forward and the coach following Atalanta exit from the Champions League.
Both player and coach are now expected to quit the Italian club this summer.
