Tolu Arokodare came off the bench to lead a remarkable comeback in a local derby at St.Truiden today after the home team had led 3-0 in the first half.
The tall striker, who has been under pressure at the top Belgian club, grabbed his fifth goal in all competitions this season to pull back a second goal on 72 minutes.
It needed the intervention of VAR for his goal to stand.
Arokodare also saw his header saved by the goalkeeper before Genk snatched a third goal for the derby to end 3-3.
Last weekend, he provided an assist at Union St.Gilloise.
Both Genk and St.Tuiden are now on 12 points each.
