Tolu Arokodare has remained a major concern at Belgian club Genk.
The striker, who was bought to replace compatriot Paul Onuachu last January, asked to be replaced against Fiorentina in a UEFA Conference League game after 55 minutes of action due to cramps.
Genk coach Wouter Vrancken was disappointed.
“It’s difficult for me to say anything about that, but if you have to ask to be substituted after 55 minutes with cramps… That’s a shame,” the coach told Sporza.
He has only played two full-duration games since he joined Genk from France.
Arokodare cost the Belgian club five Million Euros last January.
However, he has been decisive the time he has been on the pitch.
He has scored eight goals and made five assists in 37 appearances during which he has only played 1,513 minutes.
