Tolu Arokodare will not comment further on a recent training ground drama at Wolves.
He said he does not wish “to get into trouble”.
The BBC broke the news that the big striker caused a scene during Wolves training. The striker was left out of the squad for a friendly, and he subsequently sat down on the training pitch.
Other media outlets claimed that security had to intervene the following day to prevent him from disrupting another training session.
Algemeen Dagblad asked Arokodare about the incident.
“I can’t say. I am still under contract with Wolves and I have respect for the club, the players, and the fans. The truth will come out one day,” the striker responded. “If not, then God and I will know.”
Wolves official statement sending him off on loan to Ajax was not fair on the Super Eagles striker.
“I received that statement from a friend. That says a lot. I still belong to the club. What can I say? I don’t want to get into trouble,” he said.
