Tolu Arokodare has suffered a knee injury while featuring for Genk in a 3-0 home win over KV Oostende.
After a goal-scoring debut for his new Belgian club this month, the big striker was forced out by the injury after just 10 minutes.
Genk coach Wouter Vrancken gave an update of the injury.
“Tolu had knee problems, but it wouldn’t be a cruciate ligament injury,” he disclosed.
The striker’s replacement Ally Samatta took the chance to score his second goal of the season.
Genk are now 10 points clear of closest rivals Union St.Gilloise with 66 points from 27 matches.
