Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare was again the match winner for Ajax today.
He scored in first half stoppage time for Ajax to win 2-1 at Sparta Rotterdam.
It was his fifth league goal and his ninth in all competitions for the Dutch giants.
His goals should stand him in good stead for his loan transfer to be made permanent at season’s end.
It would also have boosted his chances of being called up for next month’s AFCON double-header against Tanzania.
Ajax are now second in the standings with 21 points from 10 matches, three points behind leaders and bitter rivals Feyenoord
