Hardcore Napoli fans have put up an insulting message to Victor Osimhen as he closes in on a permanent transfer to Galatasaray.
The love Osimhen enjoyed with the fans has since turned to hate after he vowed never to play again for Napoli last summer.
He moved on loan to Galatasaray as a consequence and he is now ensuring he joins the Turkish champions on a permanent basis that he even submitted a medical certificate so as not to be part of the Napoli pre-season training camp.
Against this background, Ultras representing Curva A of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium showed how they feel towards Osimhen with a banner.
“Osimhen, ignorance will always be the ruling element in your life… Peasant, remember that Maradona played here!,” the banner read comparing him with the legendary Maradona, who won two Scudettos for the Italian club.
The striker’s transfer to Galatasaray is set to be completed after the two teams agree on the percentage Napoli will receive on the resale of the player and a hefty fine should they go against the clause that forbids them from selling Osimhen to an Italian club for the next two years.
