Belgian giants Anderlecht are back in the hot chase for IFK Gothenburg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf with his Swedish club now open to a lower transfer fee of around five million Euros.
Top Swedish journalist Daniel Kristofferson has reported that Anderlecht are keen again to sign the box-to-box midfielder.
Premier League clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United as well as FC Copenhagen, Ajax and Grasshopper of Switzerland are some of the other clubs linked with the Sweden Young Player of the Year 2019.
His style fits the passing game of Anderlecht, while his remarkable stamina and 91% passing rate will bring additional value to the Belgian club.
Wolves reportedly tabled seven million Euros for the midfielder, but no thanks to the Coronavirus Pandemic this transfer fee would have to be lowered for the player to move.
BT Sport said Yusuf’s price will now be between three and five million Euros.
