Emmanuel Amuneke, whose brace won Nigeria their second AFCON crown in Tunisia in 1994, has given the Super Eagles a list of tips for them to go past the Carthage Eagles tomorrow night in Fes.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach said he expects a tough battle against Tunisia, but Nigeria could fly past their North African foes by taking their chances, which was not the case against Tanzania earlier this week.
CAF Player of the Year 1994 Amuneke also tasked the Eagles to take control of the midfield.
“They should not allow them to play when they have the ball,” he advised.
In addition, he cautioned to be careful when they attack the Tunisians.
“They should be careful when they go on the attack,” he warned.
“In my opinion, a point for Nigeria won’t be a bad result against Tunisia.”
